News of interest to all members of the Australian Division, reports of Division Council meetings, etc. are published regularly in the Australian Division Forum. The Forum also provides an opportunity for all members of the Division to raise and discuss technical matters of interest and relevance to the Australian maritime community.

The President, Prof Martin Renilson, took the Chair and declared the meeting of the Council of the Australian Division of RINA on Tuesday 10th December 2019. The meeting was conducted from Launceston, with teleconference links to Cairns, Gold Coast (2), Sydney, Canberra (2) and Perth.
